It is a luminous sensory journey, with state-of-the-art artistic installations, each time reinvented.

In 2023, "Together!" to “Enjoy” beautiful, beneficial, and sustainable lighting for:

    • Living together with nature

    • Getting Inspired together for more sustainability

    • Experiencing artistic lighting together

    • Learning  about healthy lighting together

    • Profiting together new technologies

    Space 1 - Welcome

The first area of the stand is entirely dedicated to the 10th anniversary celebration of Light Trend together with our visitors and partners.

A brilliant photocall is ready to welcome them to take memorial pictures with our producers Akari-Lisa and Motoko Ishii’s avatars “Mixalis” (Okamura) wearing a solar-robe powered by flexible solar sheet (F-wave). This photo booth is ornamented by golden chains lit by world’s unique golden LED lights (Stanley Electric).

Here the visitors can learn some know-how to take a nice picture taking benefit of good lighting techniques (fixtures and methods). The latest light track system equipped with different spotlights and diffusing lights enable to show up the space finely as well as to light up the subjects correctly for photo-shooting (iGuzzini).

Above the reception counter, an illumination system adds festivity. It is a unique catenary garland system designed to go outdoor permanently, not only decorative but also functional purpose, thanks to variety of accessories such as starry cap and spotlight optics (LED Puck).

A huge bouquet of flashlights, instead of flowers, creates a joyful and colorful eye-catch at another corner of celebration (Stanley Electric).

    Space 2 - Art

This is a space to experience artistic lights together.

When visitors enter to the first exhibition room, they would be caught by a sensorial and mystic light inspired by northern light diffused over the entire space. This special effect is created by a new original luminaire launched for the first time in this occasion: “Yume”. Combination of cutting-edge color LEDs controlled by a high-tech system (KKDC) and a custom-handmade glass realizes an original artistic light product, suitable for hospitality spaces, hotels, residences and many more.

    Space 3 - Nature

Next space is to demonstrate a lifestyle to live together with nature, thanks to lighting design.

Even if you don’t have possibility to have a great garden or plants in your living spaces, it is possible to integrate the natural elements virtually thanks to lighting. The world smallest ceiling-recessed video projector is filled with contents reproducing natural relaxing phenomena such as shade of clouds passing through the sky, shadow of leaves in the wood, water movements in the sea or on a water cascade… (Panasonic). These therapeutic images are also accompanied by environmental sound diffused by very compact speakers (Panasonic).

A soothing aroma spread in this space is issued from an extraordinary marriage of Japanese healing scent extracted from organic elements (Japanese cypress etc.) and European fragrance tradition using roses and frankincense (Hirume).

    Space 4 - Health

After experiencing dreamy and calming lights, it is time to learn more about lights which are good for the health together.

This room is reproducing a workspace (office, home office, co-working space, or a day-use hotel room etc.) around a swift-table (Okamura). It is medically recommended to change the posture during your office hours for a better performance and better physical maintenance. It is often problematic to find isolation in a free-space office or at home, to concentrate or during your video conferences etc. Here comes “Kicho”, an original movable partition furniture, created for this exhibition (Okamura). It brings the solution not only to separate a corner but also to generate energy using solar sheet (F-wave) mounted on the surface of Japanese-paper-like accordion screen, craft-made in a Ninja village (Nabell).

This ensemble of colorful office furniture proposition is completed by a vintage table lamp (iGuzzini). This is a reedition of Polsino lamp designed by Gio Ponti in 1968 and it represents today’s one of the biggest design trends: “revival”.

To boost healthy oriented aspect, a pendant light hanged over the desk is the latest and thinnest collection that provides functional direct light over the table top and undirect up-lighter for ambiance (Flos). It can modulate the intensity and nuance of white light so to regulate and correct the biological clock in a human body and improve working performance as well as sleeping quality. This technology called “human centric lighting” is the most focused in the lighting field currently.

To decorate such a space, tent to be stark, some items are presented. To start with, “light tableaux” on the wall are the illusionistic light artworks made of LEDs and special prisms. Its appearance interacts according to the movement of the viewer (Stanley Electric).

Another one is on the ceiling, representing the latest trend in lighting design. It enables the user and the space designer to custom make a free drawing with curving lighting track and its fixtures such as spotlights, pendant lights etc. (Flos). In this space, combination of different lines and decorative luminaire creates an original accent

    Space 5 - Technology

The last but not least, this space facing to another entrance to the stand is totally devoted to a never-seen lighting 4-dimensional (space & time) installation to profit new lighting technologies together using many candles and color LEDs (Stanley Electric). An excellent and astonishing example of mixture of color lights, controlling system, and colored shadows that they create. Floating LED candle lights fill the space and make magical and esthetical effect again to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Light Trend.

The last but not leThe whole exhibition is based on the ecological lighting concept to get inspired by a better sustainability together. All light sources exhibited on the stand are LED from the latest generation. Products are designed not only for energy-saving but also for better efficiency, durability, and recyclability.
